Pest reduction is a fundamental focus for many environmental groups and organisations. At Tihiraki North Loburn School we are passionate environmentalists and sustainability advocates.

Our kids are focussed on improving our natural landscape and protecting natural habitats which is why we are back with our 2025 North Canterbury Kids Hunt!

Raising funds for our fabulous Garden to Table and Paddock to Plate programmes, our aim is to get as many kids and families out and about exploring, and caring for our environment as possible.

So what are you waiting for? All you need to do is sign up and then over a four day period, 15 - 18 May, get out and hunt as many local pests as you can before we come together at the Loburn Domain for a great finale event, and weigh-in.

Not an avid hunter but want to do your bit for pest eradication? You are in luck. We even have categories for rodents!

Who knows what you will discover and what memories will be made … all while making a positive impact on our local environment.
